Pregnant on Paper

Greg and I submitted our adoption dossier in mid May. Finally we are Paper Pregnant! We thought at that time we ccould just sit back and do the things that we will not get the opportunity to do when the baby is here like go out with friends and sleep in on a Saturday. I guess we should have known that there will be no easy part to this process.
Only a few weeks into our translation we received word that more documents were needed and they had to be apostilled also. So it was back to Tallahassee for a soon to be dad, and we were in business again. We are concerned over Kazakhstan's new paper requirements and are nervous that our dossier will run into trouble at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Add to this, recent news stories about Russia closing adoptions to American agencies due to the fatal neglect of an adoptive parent, and we are edgy this week. Russian blogs are cyring out for an end to international adoption; can Kazakhstan be far off?
All we can do is wait with baited breath for notice that our paper work is on to the next stage.
